Spring Break Food Drive 2018

Any vacation from school is ALWAYS something to look forward to, unless you worry about going hungry.  In El Paso, 1 in 3 children are hungry and unsure where their next meal will come from.

Four times a year, during long breaks from school, many of our children have the opportunity to visit home or extended family. During these times, our number one worry is that the children are eating and not hungry while away from campus. To ease these worries, the staff of Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home will put together food boxes or bags for the children to take with them and share with their families.

In January, we put out the call for the El Paso community to help with non-perishable food donations so that we could put together enough boxes to send food home with more than 70 children and did you ever deliver!  We cannot say “Thank You” enough to the following businesses and friends for your generosity and help with this worthy project.
