In-Kind Donations
Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home is grateful for your support through in-kind donations. These gifts help us use our resources more effectively, allowing us to dedicate more funding to essential services for children and families in the El Paso region. Your generosity can provide much-needed items and services, making a direct impact on the children we serve.
What Can You Donate?
We accept a variety of in-kind donations, ranging from everyday necessities to special gifts. Below are some of the categories and items we frequently need:
Clothing and Personal Items 
- New or gently worn clothing (all sizes)
- Coats, hats, and gloves for cold weather
- Shoes and socks for all ages
- Backpacks and luggage
Toiletries & Personal Care
Essential hygiene products are always deeply appreciated, including, but not limited to:
- Shampoo & conditioner
- Body wash & bar soap
- Deodorant
- Toothbrushes & toothpaste
- Hair Brushes & combs
- Feminine hygiene products
- Lotion
- Baby wipes
Non-Perishable Food Items
We welcome donations of non-perishable food items to ensure the children have access to nutritious and balanced meals, including, but not limited to:
- Canned fruits & vegetables
- Canned soups & stews
- Pasta & pasta sauce
- Rice & beans
- Peanut butter & jelly
- Cereal & oatmeal
- Granola bars & snacks
- Baby formula & baby food
Toys and Games
- New or gently used toys (for all age groups)
- Board games and puzzles
- Sports equipment (balls, bats, etc.)
Household Goods
We also accept donations of household items to help maintain the children’s living environments:
- New or gently used furniture (beds, dressers, chairs, etc.)
- Cribs, car seats, and baby furniture
- Dishes, silverware, and household items
- Bed and bath linens (sheets, towels, etc.)
- Laundry detergent and fabric softener
- Household cleaning supplies
- Toilet paper, paper towels, and other disposables
Entertainment and Experience Gifts
- Movie passes for a fun night out
- Tickets to local sporting events and cultural activities
- Restaurant gift cards for family meals with the cottage
School Supplies
Provide essential learning materials:
- Pens, pencils, notebooks, crayons
- Backpacks
- Other school supplies
Vehicles
- Used cars, vans, or trucks (especially if they are in working condition) to help with transportation needs for the children.
Other Goods
- Gift cards for grocery stores or local retailers
- Garden and landscaping equipment (tools, plants, etc.)
- Classes or workshops (teaching skills, hobbies, or enrichment activities)
Important Notes
While we deeply appreciate every donation, there are a few restrictions:
- Unpackaged socks and underwear: Due to state licensing regulations, we cannot accept donations of unpackaged socks or underwear.
- Broken appliances: We are unable to accept broken or non-functional appliances, as we do not have a technician on staff to repair them.
- Stuffed animals and sleeping bags: For health and safety reasons, we cannot accept stuffed animals or sleeping bags.
