Residential Children’s Home | 13-Acre Campus | Life Skills Training
Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home provides compassionate and structured care for children in need through our 13-acre campus facility in central El Paso. Our goal is to create a supportive environment where children aged 5 to 18 can thrive and develop essential life skills. Our campus includes nine cottages, each designed to foster a home-like atmosphere, offering shelter and care for up to 70 boys and girls. Younger children and sometimes siblings are placed in loving foster homes.
Each cottage is staffed by full-time “cottage parent” trained to support children’s growth and wellbeing. These staff members oversee daily operations and work closely with children on key life skills such as meal preparation, home chores, and engaging activities. In addition, children have access to a variety of campus amenities, including a fully equipped recreation center, learning center, library, playground, and beautifully landscaped grounds. Every child receives guidance from trusted, compassionate adults who are dedicated to making a positive impact in their lives.
A Safe and Nurturing Environment
All children and youth who come to live at Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home do so voluntarily. Parents and legal guardians remain legally responsible for their children and are encouraged to remain actively involved in their child’s care plan. Family visits are scheduled regularly, typically every weekend and on holidays, when possible. When reunification is not an option, our priority is to provide a nurturing environment that helps children grow into confident, self-sufficient individuals.
The average stay for a child at the Home is around 24 months, with many children remaining with us throughout a full school year or even until high school graduation.
Children Attend El Paso Public Schools & Engage with the Community
Children attending Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home participate in local public schools and are encouraged to engage in their community through extracurricular activities, community service, and part-time employment opportunities. Our campus fosters a connection to the community, supporting children’s involvement in local life. In addition, we ensure that children receive the support they need through counseling and tutoring programs.
Once a child transitions from care, Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home offers after-care services and continued support, ensuring that they have the tools and resources to succeed beyond their time at the Home.
