What do you remember the most about starting school each year? Is it the smell of a new box of crayons, tying your new shoes, loading a new backpack with all your supplies you so carefully picked out while shopping with mom? Many of our children have never had new supplies or even supplies to call their own. The have borrowed from a teacher or been issued something from the school supply closet.
At Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home it is our priority to give our children the same childhood experiences as any other child in the schools, the feeling of excitement as they get ready for another academic school year. To succeed, they need basic school supplies, including pens, pencils, backpacks, notebooks, uniforms and of course, new shoes. You can make an important contribution to our kids by donating school supplies. These in-kind gifts allow us to spend more of our budget dollars on critical services for children and families.
Following is our wish list for school supplies. This list is by no means exhaustive. If you have something else to donate, please suggest it.

UNIFORMS:
Help send our kids back to school in style and ready to learn! Every child wants to start the school year with confidence by looking their very best and that means new clothes and uniforms.
Many of the children in our care have never started the school year with a new outfit or uniform. The stress of going to a new school is pressure enough, without having to worry what other kids think and feeling inadequate because of old, worn clothes.
Your generous donation of $30 can purchase a complete school uniform for one child. For just $150, you can dress a child for success at school with three complete uniforms and a new pair of shoes. Help us give our kids a fresh start so they can succeed at school with confidence.
