Senior Administrator of Residential Services

“I am sometimes asked why I continue to work in child care and I instantly recall the first time I observed a child achieve success and happiness, and realized that I may have helped in some way.” 

Mr. Ramirez has more than 35 years of experience working with children and families in residential care services and is a certified Child and Youth Care Practitioner. Mr. Ramirez has worked at Lee & Beulah Moor Children’s Home since 1985. He supervises all child-care workers and residential services, and is responsible for providing continuous quality improvement of programs and compliance with licensing standards. He ensures that the day-to-day needs and requirements are met for each child living at the residential care facility. He previously held the positions of child-care worker and lead/supervisory child-care worker at LBMCH. He reports to the CEO.

Mr. Ramirez holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at El Paso. He is a licensed Child-Care Administrator, a licensed Child Placing Agency Administrator, a certified SAMA ( Satori Alternatives to Managing Aggression) Facilitator, and is certified in Life Space Crisis Intervention. He has worked at the Texas Youth Commission in Pyote, Texas, and completed a two-year internship at Communities in Schools in El Paso, Texas.
